Parametric Design and Comfort Optimization of Dynamic Shading Structures

چکیده
This work implements parametric tools to optimize the environmental design of urban adaptive shadings through multiobjective evolutionary algorithms that look for solutions dynamic (time-changing) structures used in open public spaces. The proposal is located Malecon Cancun Tajamar southeast part Mexico, and main objective enhance thermal comfort users as well become social dynamics place reinforcing identity appropriation. proposed workflow includes four steps: (1) geometric modelling by tools; (2) simulation parameters using BPS (3) shape optimization an algorithm; (4) verification results. Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI) was assess outdoor derived from shadings. results showed a significant improvement with absolute UTCI differences 3.9, 7.4, 3.1 °C at 8, 12, 16 h, respectively, during summer; 1.4, 3.5, 2 winter. can help guide early process finding optimal comfort.
